Hey whats up fellas. About to pick up my first old school mopar and wanted to get some opinions pricing on it. Its a 76 duster slant 6 is and the guy wants $6k.
Has one small rust bubble on lower passenger quarter and trunk pan has a little rust as well.

Looks like the cowl is rotted on the passenger side? Can't really tell if it is or not by the pics.......Better check. If that's rotted, so is the vent stack, which means it leaks when it rains.

Florida rust is different than Chicago rust, but check out torsion crossmember and rear spring mounts. From looks of master cyc probably has drum brakes.
 
FL rust is from the top down, and that does include the vent stacks.

I've passed on MANY FL A body cars because of that.

Check very carefully. If it has those manual box like vents in the pass compartment, get your arm up in there as far as you can.
 
My dad had a 76 feather duster, it had drums all the way around. I read somewhere that starting 1/1/76 front discs became federal mandate, so any 76 with 4 wheel drums was an early model year build.
My dad's was manual brake, manual steer and 3 speed on the floor. Was supposed to be my first car but my brother wrecked his and ended up with it instead /// I was pissed.
