I am wondering what could the possible gearing be for the van/ pickup rear axle in this 8-1/4”.
I am not ready to open it up yet as I am not ready to tear into it. It is a one wheel peel and the drive shaft turns just under two times for the axle to rotate once. I was holding the opposite axle still.

Pull the cover and check. You'll want to see the condition anyway.
Gonna wait. Trying to find an 8-3/4 rear and go 3.23sg I’ve got a pumpkin just sitting here.
If I decided to keep this axle then I have a sg and gears for it as well.
Lol! All because I’m too cheap to spend for fluid and cover gasket. lol! Pinion and axle seals don’t leak- that’s one for the record books.

So I got the cover off - decided to spend some money on a gasket and new fluid.
2.94-1 ratio.
Ring gear number 2852933

Close enough to 3.0 I’m going to keep not worth the energy swapping out to go to 3.21-1 ratio. Maybe add a locker but honestly open in a street van is okay. Thanks for the help.
