I have a complete 8.25 rear end that is currently in my 68 barracuda. It has been completely rebuilt with good quality parts by a shop that does great work, and knows what they are doing. This rear end has a new clutch type shur grip, and 3:23 gears ( standard for automatic ). I had the outside powder coated black. It has only a few miles on it. I want to build my 8.75 rear but need money. I moved the spring purches in about .75 inches for more tire clearance. To move your springs just move the spring mounting boxes and buy offset shackles- easy fix. You can also buy spring moving kits that move everything in .75. That is all you can get unless you tub. My asking price is $1400.00 that is what I have in it minus the price I paid for the axel. It is out of a 1973 340 Dart, with big bolt patern 5x4.5.
