I want to swap the 8 1/4 for an 8 3/4 in my 72 satellite. Is the driveshaft the same between the two?
8.25 vs 8.75 rear, driveshaft length the same?

8 3/4 yoke sticks out about 1/4 inch more. I did this on my Duster and used the 8.25 drive shaft, no issues.
If its only 1/4" difference I should be fine. I have about an inch of yoke sticking out with the car at rest.
