8 3/4 489 cost

Been in contact with a seller of an 8 3/4 surgrip with 355, gear,489 case, says is a good one for 650 I am only willing to pay 500 we are apart in price tho.This is only the pig.He is 2 hours from me also so I have not seen it.Ok what is a fare price now a days. Also how does one know if it is any good without installing it.

New ones are $1200.00 now.Used are usally $500.00 - $700.00 There is really no way to tell if it is good unless you install it.You can look for the obvious but thats about it.Offer him $600.00 and drive over to pick it up.You will save on shipping and you can look at it in person.

if all you have is $500 and he won't sell for that, then it sounds like youre not getting a 355 center section! LOL

I paid $650 delivered for a 391 center last year...

I'm sure someone will come up with a 3.55 center they bought from their grandmother for 50.00 but he isn't out of reason for one in good shape.
