I cannot for thet life of me get the brake line out of this block. I put it in my vice and tried to put a pipe wrench on it to turn it and it just will not come loose. I'm going to try heat now but decided to check here to see if I'm missing something.

I have a replacement ready to go.

Thanks!

No go. I cut it down, but it looks like it doesn't in screw. I think. It's a unit. Weird.

I can't seem to find a replacement, tho. Year one, fine lines, and Mancini don't list one.

Anyone run into this??

I just replaced that hose and the block came attached to the hose. The part # from Rock Auto is SUN 2203912. It was also for an 83/4 rear.

Great. Was it for a Dart ? I have newn prebent brake lines, so want to make sure it will all match up.

I got that # off the packing slip. I couldn't find the plastic pkg. it came in. I punched in 72 Duster with 8 3/4 rear. I just checked RA and it has that hose for the rear at $12 and change.

Make sure you get the right hose for the vent location. Earlier models had vent on side of hump. Later had it on the tube. The respective hoses are different lengths.
Your housing might not be oe to the car.
