8 3/4 drop out bolt pattern ?

i have 72 duster not original 8 3/4 i have 489 case that was in car but i was going to put 742 case but the bolt pattern is different. i am nuts or just working to late into night gasket fits on 742 case but not on housing. holes are off i tried every different way. HELP

No they are all the same from 1957-1974. 741, 489,742,657
