I'm installing an 8 3/4 rear end and need to set spring perches. what is the lie angle. I have stock leaf springs?

With the perches level, pinion yoke would be 5* up for stock set up.

If you are going to set pinion angle, the rear needs to be installed in the car.

Thanks. we had the rear end in the car and the car weight on it. The old rear end ( 71/4) was at zero. We checked my friends 70 challenger and it was at 1 * down. Wouldn't 5 * up be too much since the final driveline angle should be no more than 2 1/2 * angle. Let me know thanks Rick

My Duster has zero angle in relation to the trans yoke, I'm going to try 2.5 degree down shims next week to see if a high speed driveline vibration goes away next week.

Perch relationship to the pinion and pinion angle in the car are two different things.

Here's one post from Cass, AKA Dr. Diff. Says the same pinion to perch angle, pinion slopes UP 5* for stock setting on an A body 8.75 rear.

If you are going to set up the pinion angle in relation to the trans, set perches in the car.
