I seemed to have misplaced my pinion seal protector for my 489 case 8 3/4 center section. This is the circular piece that slides over the pinion yoke and covers the pinion seal area. Anyone have one I could buy?

That's generally part of the pinion flange. Maybe someone has a bad flange where they can knock that piece off and sell it to you. Otherwise you may have to buy the whole thing. I believe they made both a coarse and fine spline version, as well as at least 3 different u-joints.
