Don't know if this will work for you or not, but NAPA has them for $7.99 each. Part number BK6751037 is for a B body with 10" brakes. For that price you could buy one and try it. It may work as is or need just a bit of grinding. You won't know until you try.

Found the listing at NAPA Online. Maybe it's only available online? Have learned that what they list online doesn't match what the stores have and it takes forever to get what you order. Try going to your local Dodge/Chrysler dealer and talking the parts department into searching their parts locater. You'd be amazed what is still sitting on dealer shelves. Volares, Aspens, Diplomats, 5th Avenues, and the like had 10" brakes. Shouldn't be too hard to find one of those in a junkyard. If you shake enough bushes, something will fall out.

Found it's best to take the part number with you to NAPA or anywhere for that matter as most of these guys dont' know the old cars and parts interchanges. Or how to look them up. No offense to these guys but around here that seems to be true.

go to the local junkyard, these things are the same on all 10 inch brake mopars. i just snagged a set off a diplomat for $2.48 at the local u-pull.

yeah i asked our parts guy....ill take a picture and see what you guys think....remeber i dont even have an original strut so im not sure what it looks like...but i got one from weavers....and if it does come to it ill search a treasure yard...thanks for the help guys...and look 2morro for that picture please...

Looks just like the one on my 10 inch brake setup. I cant verify the measurement for ya but once you have it between the two shoes you should know.

those are they. just remember that there is a right and left, they are not the same. the Napa guy told me that it was the same part for right and left. the two i pulled from the dippy are different R & L. Chrysler part number: 4126576 4126577.

as long as they fit between the brake shoes i think that they should work. hell, a friend from work told me that when he worked as a mechanic he took them off of cars and didn't bother to put them back on when he did brake jobs. fwiw many of the cars in the junkyard didn't have them either. they might not be as critical as i thought they were, but i figure that they must be somewhat important, i mean it's part of the e-brake.:stop:

yeah, i see what you're saying. but i did order 2 of them using the part numbers you have up there. milwaukee shows 10 of each...

hey no problem, i was going through the same headache you are going through. it seemed like such a simple thing to get / do, you'd think that brake parts would be easy to find. :stop: oh, when you install them the curved end goes toward the front of the car and points down. the springs are Napa part# UP 80744 about $2 for the pair. good luck!
