8 3/4 rearend NEW "Lock Right" brand 'Automatic Positive-locking differential. was being installed in a customers car when they called up and ordered a new dana 60, so now it's for sale. Never run and still has the assembly lube on it. Selling for $199 plus shipping/Insurance. Paypal ok. Can drop off at the Fall Fling in Van Nuys, CA next week.

Hey Miggy...THose are the kind that you can install in a standard OPEN carrier, right? In other words, a man can install this without having to reset the ring and pinion gears?
 
I never installed one, so I don’t know. Shop owner traded me stuff I had, so I got it without knowing how to install. Are you interested, as I can ship out as late as tomorrow.

I put one of those in a dana 60 w/3.55 gears and had to pull the carrier and take the ring gear off to get the unit into the carrier, but no gear set up required with those.
 
You guys step up if you want it. I appreciate the courtesy. I asked the question thinking it might help Miggy sell it if I was right. A guy on Moparts had suggested a diff like this awhile back as a way to get the traction without a trip to the axle shop.
