has any one cut end narrow there own rear end do u cut the welds then the housing????please help thank you

Not really sure what your askin but here goes. I bought a narrowing jig to do my housing the next time I am home. I will figure out if I need to narrow it as I think I am getting new wheels. If I do I will cut the ends off,weld on the ladder bar brackets,coil over shock mounts and the brace to stiffen the housing. Last I will weld the new ends that I got to the housing. Hope this is what your asking

Sorry never done one before...I will be my own ginnie pig hehe. And I only get home for like a week at a time,so when I am home my free time is spent trying to work on my car.

Blown340 is right you should do all your welding on the housing (brackets, mounts, etc) before you weld on the ends.
