8 3/4 Set Up Question

I have to install spring perches on my recently acquired a body housing.
I have a 62 b body housing with the original spring perches as set by the factory.

Can i weld the new ones with the same angle as related to the center housing , as the b body housing.. I read it is 5% up??

I presume the a and b body are set up the same from the factory..

The pinion angle would be fine (just like the B). You just need to move them inbound 1/2" per side farther than the B...
