Well hopefully that got your attention. As some of you may know there is no track on long island so we are forced to go to jersey to run our cars. I took the ride with some local buddies and as were getting ready to unload my friends chevelle, this thing comes in. I have more pics of the car I just wanted to get this video out. Yes it is a street car, he has plates on it. Sorry for the lack of zoom. This was my first track expierence and wasnt really prepared. Just really overwhelmed. You can hear my voice at the end of the video. I believe this whas his best run. He was missing second gear and running an 8.29!!!!!! With all this talk of forced induction on our a bodies. This is a prime example of something you could have. Enjoy, I know I did  [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDSZKMBIVJI&videos=RP3fRKSqCZc&feature=BF"]YouTube - VID 20101101 131415[/ame]

I believe that car was built by SDCE,what a rocket!

He told me that a shop in Rhode Island built the whole fuel injection system for him, what a real nice guy. Brought his 2 sons to the track and made a day out of it. They had a 73 challenger running there. I have vidoes of that as well. A 1.27 60 foot( he was footbraking the car) and also had a mid 8 second pass.

That looked like the car from SDCE. If it is, it is a twin turbo small block. ANybody contemplating a twin turbo build should really call them.......

Most on this board probably can't afford to build something like that..and for the amount of money thats in that car,it should be running 8's...

Believe the motor with the turbos was close to 30k....I think I may have been wrong, seen on a Dakota forum the motor was 28k, plus the turbos....but I do not remember which it was

SDCE is in Rhode Island

Thats the SDCE built Duster, there is more video floating around on this site of its dyno sessions. It started as a Procharged small block and recently went twin turbo. Awesome car, thats just the tip of the iceburg of what that combo is capable of. The 73 Challenger is Scotts personal car that was the start of his business SCDE. That car runs very too on a small drag radial.

Somewhere in the bomb zone of my garage I have the first magazine article about Scott's Challenger...

I remember that issue! That was way before pressurized Mopars were even considered. I remember people looking at my set up in the mid 90s and thinking that cant work. Now look there are so many people out there making killer power with Mopars and squirrel cages!

Yea Scott was there they took the trip up from rhode island for the day to run. I was talking to him hes a really nice guy. He calls the challenger a "mut" because of the front end. It looks pretty sharp in my opinion. That car is an animal as well. He only made 2 passes for the day, (fuel issues) They needed to take the fuel pump from the duster so he could run his challenger. I have video of that run I will add soon.

They are super nice guy's.....That is the sameduster that had the big R.W.B. Mopar stripes (I like it way more with out them) The Duster still has tons more in it once they get the computer stuff and fuel all figured out. It looked really strong at the Shakedown @ E-Town this year. And he had to go from E-Town to RI and back friday night for a new computer! That my friends is dedication!

And V if you happen to come across anymore rentals this year please PM me ASAP we just put a GTX togetherwe would like to get out and try before the year is over. Ill be at Belmont sat stop by if you make it there

SDCE rocks! That Duster has a wicked launch. Thanks for the video. Here's a few more of that Duster.
