Is anyone running a 15x8,3 3/4 " backspace wheel combo on a stock A body rear wheel well, 72 Scamp with 8 3/4 axle? and 255/60/15 tires?

Have a line on some slots and just though I would check before going out to the ice cold garage and measure my self. lol.. :)
Thanks

Do you still have the 5x4 pattern? Most BBP conversion axles widen the rear track width.

If you remove your rear wheel, and the car at ride, with a square laid flat against the drum face do you have 5.25" of gap between the inner fender and drum face? Now you will want more than 5.25 for tire room, more like 5.75 to 6"

Changed to Big bolt pattern axles... I will check that measurement tonight thanks :)

If they are aftermarket axles in a factory A body 8-3/4 housing that use the same brake offset as OE Mopars with 4.5 bolt pattern then those wheels will not fit.

My 17x8 have a 5.25" backspacing and I have very limited clears with the fenders rolled and I have a 5x4.5 axles and Dr Diff discs with are about .1" thicker than drums. So those rims on my car would stick out 1.5" Your Scamp had rear fenders like my Dart so no way in hell that will fit unless you did the 68 Hemi Dart fender mod, which is basically cut the fender to clear.

My '69 Dart, 15x8 with a 4.5" back space, 255x60x15's.
