I'm skeered. The heads alone are worth more than the asking price.

Just to see what kind of response I get if any I sent:

"What is the cubic inch displacement? Do you know anything about the internals at all" If not, who will?"

Just curious to see how and if he answers.

Not disputing it is likely not real, but the ad has a phone number and engine likely has a vin that can be run if things develop that far. Who knows with a few texts, phone call, things should reveal themselves fairly fast with minor effort. Let us know what you guys find out......

There was a Duster at the local drag strip a couple years ago that had a Nascar truck engine in it. The thing sounded wicked, like nothing else out there. I don't think he ever did get it to hook. Lol

The engine may not have a VIN number because it could be a race block. I can not tell if it is or isn’t on this phone and the dark colors.

It's a NASCAR engine and they were being fire saled by the builders when Mopar left the series. I remember Ernie Elliot was selling these things complete for the 4500-8500 range. This is right in that range. At the end it wasn't uncommon to grab one for $4K

Likely in the 355-360ci range.

Weird stroke and a big bore set up. These things rpm like crazy.

The blocks are plentiful on Ebay as well. I've seen nearly complete engines in the 5k range. If that is legit, it's a hell of a deal and it would be a screamer on the street. I drove a de-tuned (~550hp) one on the Milwaukee Mile track and it was a trip. Wonder if an A833 would bolt up?
