833 drive shaft question

Ok I have a 360 with a 833 tranny in a 72 Demon, I need a drive shaft but don't know what yoke will fit. I am being told 727 will fit is this true?????

Depends on the year of the 833 trans, most 727 yokes are the same as 833.
You need to count the number of splines on the output shaft of your trans.

Unless it's the '66-7 A-body 4 speed which has the 25 spling output shaft like a 904. Just count the splines.....they only made the two sizes in slip yokes. Then you can decide which U-joint size you need before getting the correct yoke.
