I have brake lights and turn signals but, no running lights. Checked fuses, bulbs and wiring. Kinda perplexed on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

Get out the test light & start at the headlight switch, that way you will know for sure if & where the problem lies.

Make sure you check fuses under load, that is with the headlight switch in "park." Might be a headlight switch issue but much more likely a fuse or fuse clips rusty or flakey fuse. Do the signals and stop lamps actually work correctly? IT COULD be bulbs and sockets

I have reverse, brakes and turn signals. No running lights or liscense plate lights.

Fuses and and fuse clips look good. This truck is garage kept and only has 88000 on it. The headlight switch might be it

I don't spose you have a link to an accurate wiring diagram/ shop manual??

No I meant a link to one so WE can look at it. Maybe offer some help

Replaced headlight switch. Still nothing

Where have you checked for power? I am not familiar with harness routing in these. Are both the front and rear parking lights out? It's possible the routing is ........from headlight switch.........to kick panel connector........branch off to front. In that case a break/ damage at the kick panel connector (example) would kill all of them

Have you checked that the tail/ parking fuse IS ACTUALLY supplying power under load?

I checked the pig tail at the headlight switch. I have power. I have power at the fuse. Havnt checked under a load yer. Im not getting power to that wite in the back. Im horrible with electrical.

Yes i have power at the fuse under a load

I just don't know. Without a diagram, hard to give you ideas.

Mo; Pull #8 fuse [20 Amp] and look to see if it is burned. Push it in and out a few times. Using a good test light [non LED type], check the pins of the fuse itself. The test light should be on on each pin. The power goes from there to the headlight switch via a pink/red tracer wire. You can pull the plug out of the headlight switch and check for juice at the pink/red terminal ---- or you can leave it plugged in and stab the black/yellow wire coming from the headlight switch with a sharpened point of the test light. The test light should be on only when you pull out the headlight switch knob. ----- From there it gets spliced and goes to all the parking lights. --good luck--

Park lamp fuse shows power?
I i think headlights share the same power source, out from switch, through fuse and off to park lamps. Never mentioned if headlights come on. bulkhead connector, ir a fuse link under the hood.

Ok. Only one side works on number 8 fuse. Might be onto something

Alright. The yellow wire on the switch doesnt light up

I think i found the culprit.

Its black and yellow. Goes to that bulb.

That was it. Thanks to everyone that helped. I had to solder it tge connector was deteriorated.

I had it in my head you told us NONE of the running lamps worked. Big difference. Glad you found it. Just for a "point of reference" I bought my first---used--- Mopar in about 1971, a 69 RR 383. Went down to the dealer shortly after and bought the factory service manual. Later, I bought the 70 440-6 from a friend, HE had a service manual in the trunk. That was the about a year later. I STILL HAVE (most) of that 70 manual. Unfortunately I had the VIN written in the front cover, and the first few pages are now gone, so I could never track down that car--if it exists
