do any of you guys have some pics of the 308s that are cut up? it would be interesting to see what areas to stay away from when porting.i see you can get mopar porting templates for the 308s,anyone use these on the 308s?any flow numbers?since this engine is a hydrolic roller engine i'm going to go with comps new retro fit cam,pn.20-811-9,xr274hr-10,.538 lift,[email protected] intake,534 lift,[email protected] exhast,110 lsa.i'm not sure if the cam is based on a 1.5 or 1.6 rocker as of yet.same as what springs comp recomends for this grind.i might have to phone compcams for more info.i'm thinking of using sbc valves in 1.94 in. and 1.60 ex.
the heads should be back from getting hot tanked today,hopefuly no cracks.mike
 
Mike, I have some flow #s, but I'll have to go back and find them, I also have a 308 head here that I was doing some experiments with. Send me your e-mail address again and I'll send you some flow #s and some pics.

phoned compcams and the xr274hr-10 specs are with a 1.5 rocker which is nice to know.i asked about what springs to use,and they told me that they have'nt got that far yet.i looked at some crane springs and the 99838-16 springs should work.
 
any chance I could get the same flow numbers info and any other comments of help you might be willing to shareas i have a set of 308s I'm installing on a 388 stroker this spring. 202/1.625 bowl hogged, blended, runner clean up and gasket matched - cut for 64ccs
