Does anyone recognize this converter? It is suposed to be a performance converter and came with a fresh "performance" 904 when I bought my '72 swinger - I am going big block and no longer need it, but would like to know what it is so I can sell it.

On the very front of the convereter, stamped on the raised boss or register in the middle is stamped 123C and HS3 and stamped on the curved transmission side of the converter is 35103.

Any help would be great!

Thanks

David

Ha Ha, I was just about to do the same thing Dave! Oh well, at the price I can't complain, it's over stock and the 904's gotta be better than mine! As far as it goes I'm leaning towards custom based on a Huges core probably about 2600 - 2800, but if anyone actually knows please enlighten me!
:read2:

That converter is weighted for a 360 or 340--can't tell. The weights on the front cover makes it extranlly balanced

morely then likely for a 360..since the 904 was never put behind a 340 from the factory..

bump to see if anyone knows what this is, painted on it is "cparno.lg77" as close as i can tell and it's 10 3/4" - 11" if that helps.

So noone has any idea what kind of converter this is? I'm amazed. i have searched the numbers everywhere but nothing. Anyone have a guess even?

Well I figured out the core, now I just need to figure out the stamps, or take it apart I suppose.
it's a 904 non lock up CR13H 1975-77 360 Engine (High Stall)
Two Weights (1.62” x .75” x .380”)
11” Narrow Ring Gear
