i have a ptc convertor I am thinking about taking out of my car , new motor needs a diff convertor, this one was built for a 340 , what is your motor combo?:blob:

It's a 340 with 12-1 compression 660 cam lift solid. Fully ported batten w2 heads. Single plane m1. 5.38 gears. 950 hP carb. car weighs 2863 with me in it. Thanks.

it was built for a 340 fully worked eddies, 549 lift solid, 4.10 gears, full weight street strip car , 10.5 motor had great street manners is a 9.5 ptc round a 3800 to 4200 convertor depending on motor and trans and gear, it was built with a little more slip in it to make up for thr 340 lack of torque, new stroker motor needs a little less slip that's why I am changing it car ran best of 7.20,s on motor with it and the 340
