904 Kickdown Cable

Do I need a kickdown cable for a reverse pattern 3 spd 904 ? I'm asking because my Cheetah turbo action shifter cable is hooked to the same arm as the kickdown cable would hook to ?

That makes no sense. Have the # off the cheetah valve body? Mine is manual only- no kick down, in fact, internally there is no rod anymore.
go on their site and search. Pic would help. Or call Paul Forte; I'm installing a used trans, I bought from somebody else, with Turbo Action parts in it, and Paul has been a big help, on the phone
