Is it possible to modify the stock kickdown linkage and rod assembly to work on a demon on top of a m-1 highrise intake. Yes I too am cheap , or maybe it's just the times. If you think it's a waste of time I can always get the lokar or the bouch.

You could put together something like my mess. A hunk of flat stock, cut some threads on bar stock bent in a vise and you're good to go. It's not pretty, but it works well.
