[Found!] 904 LA Dipstick Tube/Dipstick

Looking for a LA 904 dipstick tube and dipstick. It’s for a 64 904 but think anything for a 904 will work. Shipping to 22657; pictures would be helpful

I think it might make a difference whether slant six or V-8 on the tube, at least. I have some tubes and dipsticks, and a 64 slant six that I can check for fit.

I suspect the tubes are dependent on the transmission. If the tab on the tube lines up with the transmission to the LA engine bolt when the tube is inserted into the 904, I would think it’ll fit. I could be wrong

That is correct, I was going to say that I don't have an LA engine to check, but I can use a LA904 trans to get the bolt location. I think I have a cable shifted V-8 trans that I can use to check. Too dark out now, I'll look on Sunday.

If you happen to have the total length of the tube or distance from say the top to the tab, that would work too. i have a tube I found in my storage which fit perfectly in my 42RH. I will do a test fit with it tomorrow

Tube is about 17 inches from the flange on the transmission. That includes the bend
