904 Transmission

I am selling the 904 transmission that came in the car. I was told it has been rebuilt with about 10,000 miles on it. It includes the kick down levers, torque converter, flex plate, and floor shifter.

It started leaking oil while it has been parked in the garage over the last 10 years.

Asking $100, local pick up preferred, or buyer to pay all shipping and handling charges. Located in Bend, Oregon 97702

Too bad you're on the other coast - I could use a 904 rather than the 727 I have.

I pulled the transmission out of the car today. There was minor oil at the tail shaft (easy seal replacement). The oil leakage looks like it came from the cork gasket getting saturated from sitting for 10 years. I think this is a good transmission.

I am not going to include the floor shifter as stated above, because it needs to stay with the center console when I sell it.

first would that fit a 1965 valiant? if so do you still have the transmission?

I don't know, but it should. It is a pretty compact transmission with a small block bolt pattern. Let me know what you think.
