A-833 non-OD adjusting

I'm new to the site so I'd like to say *hello* to everyone.

I read a lot of thread about how to adjust a A-833 tranny on this website.

I know that for a-833 overdrive you just have to put a 1/4 inch rod into the shifter mecanism and then adjust the swivel on the rod so they are aligned with the arm.

The thing is, on my shifter mecanism I don't have a hole on the reverse arm... (because it is a non-OD I believe)

Do I need to adjust the 1-2 and 3-4 gear arm with the 1/4 inch rod technics. And after I adjust the reverse arm in the middle of it's stroke by eye ???

Welcome to the best site on the web. Yes adjust the 1-2 and 3-4 with a pin and eyeball the reverse in the center.
