a-833 with a 10 spline input?

Got this today an thought it would be a good one to replace my a-833 cause this one is an overdrive. What is with this input shaft/ Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ron K

never seen a 10 spline A833 with over drive -- what year is the tranny? are you sure someone hasn't stuffed a 10 spline in place of a 23 spline?

I was told its an 80 something. I didnt know you could put a 10 spline in one. The rear spline is 27.

I was told by bre3wers that it came from a ch--y truck. Anyone interested ?

Cant do pics until my computer guru gets back. Would it be possible to switch input shafts from an a-833 to a-833 OD? That chevy spline is to small for the flywheel bearing.

The input shaft might swap but the bolt pattern on the bellhousing is different, the shifter is in the wrong spot and the trans mount is different. Try to sell that thing to some chevy guy.
