Is this an A-Body transmission or not? Thanks in advance guys. Looks like a body shifter position but guy says it’s out of a early 70s b body.

I know it’s an 833 lol. Is it an A-Body? The shifter location looks correct for an A-Body but I want to be sure.
A Body. Note shifter location. Check out Brewers Performance or Passon Performance websites. Get the casting number from the tail shaft housing to tell if it's 26 spline or 30 spine.
A or e body. Side note not “a 833” but A-833 I forgot the dash.

It’s definitely not e body it would have 2 shifter mounts. I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t a truck trans.
actually, truck O/D uses the e body tail shaft housing.

Oh yea but it has a weird plate to move the shifter. I think.
