What is the difference between a 67 Baracuda console, and a 74 Duster console?

No physical differences in size or shape there, just cosmetic differences.
The later console doesn't have a black painted groove down the center of top plates . The later console door has a push button latch and some had wire tie like teathers for the seatbelts on the sides of them.

So it would not be blasphemy to put the Baracuda console in my Duster?
Well no. Not like its a Geo console or anything aftermarket. The tops are interchangable if you find a trade. I have the later type in my 67 Barracuda LOL . I dont like the center groove. That groove could be filled and covered with paint, woodgrain, or any of the adhesive laminates available today.

No . it's a stock shifter with a BMW knob on it. What was that word used before... oh yeah, blasphemy. LOL I'll put a knob from the new Demon or Challenger on it someday.
The oiginal shifter, steering wheel, etc.., are stored indoors.
