As many of you know, I am attempting to restore/rebuild/just get running my dad's and grandfathers 1966 Barracuda. I have read and read and have tried to use all the information here, but it leads to more questions.

Right now I am looking to get a donor car for the disc brakes and maybe even the rear end. I have found a 1976 Duster fairly cheap and was curious if the rear end and the brake setup would be a good fit for my car?

Thanks,

John

76 Duster, very good choice. :)

like stated that is excellent car for upgrading your brakes-- just be prepared for the change in wheel bolt pattern & the ability to stop!!--

Nice pic of your back side of the b-cuda!! selling your small bolt stuff should help finance your duster purchase

I did want the larger bolt pattern, and I hope you mean that my ability to stop will be easier???

I am the first to admit that I am VERY new to all this, and I am trying to learn as much as I can, but it is a bit much at times.

Thanks for the compliment on the picture. The plates actually are for my father and my granfather. My dad called his dad (my grandfather) "pops" and we called our dad "pops", so it was a no brainer for the name!

I sent you a PM regarding small bolt stuff.

John
