That was a mouthful...

Simple question: was one ever available? I love the shape of the pistol grip shifter and want to get one for my a833OD conversion, but I never see any that are specifically for bench seat A-bodies. Am I stuck having to mod one to make it work?
 
None ever produce from the factory.

I think some guys are using the 71-74 B body handle for use in A's. Not sure if it works with bench seats.
