:banghead: Help... Have a 72 Demon 340 basket case - originally a 225 3 speed car, bought it in the middle of someones conversion to a 340. Has the console (need to weld the mounting brackets on yet) with an Inland 4 speed shifter, mechanism, rods, correct floor pan, and K frame-
I need the mount plate for the tailshaft and/or info if anyone has had any success converting your console shifter over to a Hurst? The shifter is weird in that it makes a huge bend to come out of the hump, back in through the bottom of the console and back again to the driver side- Is there a Hurst CONSOLE shifter made for an A-Body? Easier for now is if someone might have the 4 speed plate that mounts the mechanism to the tailshaft- Then advice on whether I can or should convert it to a Hurst, or keep the Inland?
