Hi, new guy here. Don't have an A-Body, but a buddy is looking at one.

Would a '70 Dart Custom have a 7/16" wheel stud?

I'm I correct in assuming all studs would be right handed, because the car is '70 and up?

Thanks!

The small (4") bolt circle cars have 7/16" studs, the large (4.5") bolt circle cars have 1/2" studs. Stock '70 a-bodies had 7/16" studs. I am unsure when Mopar did away with left hand studs but I converted my '65 to all right hand just to make it easier. They will be stamped on the end with a R or L

Hey does anyone know where I can still get Left handed 7/16 studs?
I just got my 8 3/4 and it has rights on both sides. Most of you would say leave it but I have SM. Bolt Crager SS rims and the lugs are NOT cheap, however I already have enough of the L's to get the job done so I think Ill look for the left studs instead of getting new nuts.
I paid 117.00 for all the lugs brand new ouch!!!!! that was 10 years ago!!!

thx guys I already tried my local grocery/parts store.
(carry more snacks than parts anymore)

Hey 4mulaSvaliant, I think my 8 3/4 has left handed studs. I'd have to check. If it does, I'd probably be willing to trade studs with you.

64 Cuda thx for the thought. That just may work out. Let me take these out and see how well it goes when I remove them, before I say that Ill give em' to ya. Dont wanna tell ya Ill give them to you and then end up destroying them.
Im going out today to get a few parts so Ill check at the local wheel shops and see what the availability is.
On that note if I find them for a good price Ill pass on the info. or if I get these out in tact you are welcome to them.
