Odd one out
I acquired a 198 slant for parts in which the PO said had only 90,000 something miles. On the outside it doesn't look like it at all, with lots of surface rust and corrosion on the carb and alternator. However, underneath the valve cover I found it very clean with little residue. All outside accessories such as pumps and hoses would have to be replaced. I'd rather give it to someone to build it or put it back in an A body than scrap a potentially nice running engine. Yes, it moves freely. It has some things missing: original valve cover (has a aftermarket chrome one in place), spark plug tubes, oil dummy light wire, oil dipstick, and carburetor metering body. Gotta get rid of it soon. I'll be adding pictures once I get them downloaded. Does need to be picked up locally, bring your own cherry picker. PM me or post here if interested.
