Heres the Bee that started my love of T-5 Copper Mettalic. This was my Uncles car. Very 70's, with a stout 440, 4 spd. Can you Oakville guys remember this car after it was painted?

I believe I remember seeing this car repainted candy apple red with the words SLO POKE in gold metal flake on the rear 1/4,s.This was in the mid 80,s.:happy10:I like the car as-is in your pic.!

That was it. We named it Slo-Poke in honor of another uncles Fury drag car. I liked it better before also.

How in the heck have I missed this? Thanks for posting that pic Bill, she`s a beauty. Just the other day I talked to an old friend I hadn`t seen in years. It didn`t take long before we were on the "Super Bee" subject. He owned a yellow `70 at the same time I had the orange `69. Oh did we have fun. :burnout:

My first mopar was a 69 runner 383/4 speed that same color, loved it.

The B`cuda is going to need another paint job soon, (had a little mishap) and I was thinking of maybe going with another shade of gold or even another metallic color like copper or bronze?
