Damn Chris, I thought that they may have sacrificed you to the Volcano. Haven't heard or seen anything from you in awhile. Lol. Why a 4spd. I still have some parts let from mine.

Eh. Just thought 4 was better than 3. Haha
Still alive, just roughing it in Hawaii.

You could do it super cool. Make a remote reverse lever under the dash or in the floor next to the driver's seat and do a four on the tree.

Wonder if can get electric cyl. Strong enough to push n pull in and out of gear. Something to look into.

Love it! I would drive it as-is.

My parents had a '67 with the windows down the sides. 318, 3-on-the-tree. I could haul all my buddies in it with no problem. :D

A108 actually. That space between the front and side doors makes it the longer version 108" wheelbase. What's with the Manson looking character painted in mural form on the side. I'd sand all that off and do a repaint, add some cragar S/S and install a V8

1 hell of an idea !

Not sure what your bell housing is, but on my '78 D100 225 slant 6, i went from 3 on the tree to 4 on the floor out of an '85 D100 overdrive 4spd. Think a standard ratio 4spd without the overdrive would have been a better choice to go behind that slant 6.

Truck had the 11" clutch, but to make the 4spd bolt up I had to move out the lower right aluminum transmission ear about a 1/2" with my heliarc to make it match up to the '78 slant 6 bell housing,

Worked good for many years, a little bit over geared but great gas milage and better than the 3 speed. 3.23 rear gears at the rear axle on that one.

I'd leave as is and enjoy it. Sis moved to North Shore and there was a beach/surf spot called "upper and lower Marijuanas"
