Hey Guys,
Jason here...I am a member over on Ebodies.org. I see there is a lot of A500 discussion over here. I am in the midst of an A500 swap on my 74 Cuda, and wondering of you guys could help me out.
This is my first transmission rebuild (I know I am crazy, but I love to work on my car) and I think I have it all under control, but I have one concern…I have the OD section ready to bolt to the case but I am worried I missed a part on the governor.
Does anyone know if all governors had a washer under the snap ring of the large weight assembly? I do not recall taking one out on disassembly, but I see one on the videos I am using to assist on the rebuild.
I just want to make sure I am not missing anything before I bolt on the OD section to the case.
