Chrysler New Process A833 4 speed transmission.
I have for sale an A body aluminum case 4 speed transmission. This is NOT an OD aluminum case, this is a Direct Connection aluminum case and tail housing. This saves about 25lbs in overall weigh. Side cover is cast iron ball and detent style interlock. Front bearing retainer is brand new.
This has been fully rebuild with new bearings, gaskets, seals, and synchros. The gear set is a 1971 23 spline close ratio set with 2.47:1 first gear. Unused and fresh from rebuild.
Originally this box had an 18 spline gear set with the Red Strip gear ratio and was in a Hemi superstock 68 Barracuda. When I acquired it it had damaged gears so I installed my 23 spline set.
