A833 main case

Hello, I am rebuilding an a833 23 spline transmission for my small block valiant. The main case has some scratches on the thrust bearing step of the main case, I was wondering if it’s ok to stone this and use it again. Or do I need a new case? The original thrust tabs were still in place so I don’t think it fully spun.

Fine, smooth out any high spots. The washer is dong the work there not the case.
