A833 OD shifter and linkage.

I recently became the proud owner of an A833 OD transmission but it came without shifter or linkage. Can anybody advise where I can find shifter and linkage for it, and can I modify non od linkage to work with this transmission? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply. That would be awesome! Sorry, I have to ask. Do you have all three rods? What kind of price are you needing for your shift rods?

Rods are dependent on what shifter mount you use, and that is dependent on what car it's going in,

Get the correct rods for the application, and then flip over the 3-4 rod, so it throws the other way.

Just about any Hurst/clone shifter mechanism will work.

i do not have a complete set i only have the 3-4 OD linkage.

dont be fooled into thinking you can get a regular 3-4 linkage and just flip it over. the 3-4 OD linkage is a 1/2 inch longer and the flat piece is clocked diferently than a regular 4 speed 3-4 flat piece.

mine is for an A-Body A833OD trans. but i dont know you didnt specify if you were working on a lawn mower or a b-52.
