Not following on the clips..my boot mounts in a slide on the back of the rear seat, and snaps onto the chrome strip which is held on by the screws holding the other side of the snap, around the back...???

Dave

The snaps have a screw in each one and I need the clips that the screws go into.

The screws on mine go right into the sheetmetal lip of the body. Can you post a pic?

This is a old pic of when I was fitting some parts, but you can see that there are holes in the lip where the top boot chrome rests on.

Guess I'm a little slow, not sure exactly what you are looking for.

Do you need the stainless trim that goes around the opening with the snaps too

just the snaps

the 2 leading edge and corner pot metal chrome pieces

or all of the above

I think I still have a complete set of SS trim, rechromed corner and lead pieces and a box of snaps SOMEWHERE ........ LOL

Should have the piece that goes across the back of the seat for the boot to slide into also. Bought a 68 Convertible just to get this piece and then was able to buy another one on ebay several years ago while still building my car

OK I see what you need,

I don't have any

You want the clips that are over the holes in the body that the actual screw goes into to hold the trim on the body

Be careful when you install them. I had to adjust them and had one come out of the pliers and hit the car. Thought I was going to have a heart attack. Oh well the 1st scratch is the hardest

Check with RT specialties. I think that is where I bought them for my car

those clips are sold on ebay for 50 per set, or from a vendor at 65 per set.
I need to replace 7 and will probably buy a complete set eventually.
