I have a 1969 Barracuda with a 340 in it . The intake is an Edelbrock air gap so it is a little taller. What length accelerator cable do I need . The stock cable is too short.

I don’t think your cable is too short, you may have issues with the mounting brackets.

When we went from the 360 to the 383 in my sons '71 Charger, it has a Performer RPM on it. A friend advised me to make spacers (and of course, longer bolts) to raise the bracket up level with the carb. Worked like a charm. I used old alternator spacers cut to length but small pipe from Home Depot would work also.
