I have traded the Mopar M1 Single Plane for an RPM Air Gap.

The accel pedal has too much slack when I adjust the carb at WOT.

What about spacing up the rear clamp on the manifold to take up some slack.

Is it just me or does it look like if the metal part of the cable housing at the carb end was in the cable clamp on the intake there wouldn't be any slack?

You have that messed up. I will bet you are using the 2bbl bracket. TB hit it right on. The AG puts the carb way up there. You can buy a very nice adjustable aftermarket bracket, or re-engineer yours.Either way, the metal part has to go into the clamp, or risk WOT sticks-on; Not a pleasant event, I can assure you.
I, for one, am so glad you asked.Your loved ones would hate to see your name in the obits.

Any suggestions on an aftermarket bracket for the Air Gap?
