I am looking for the accelerator return spring and the kick down rod spring, the one that goes from the carb to the back of the kick down rod for this 1974 318 2bbl Scamp. If you have either one please P.M. me and I will get back with you.

I would think the local hardware should have something comparable. That's where I put together my dual return spring setup.

Just pay attention to the spring tensions, you don't want something too weak or too stiff.

I highly recommend a dual return spring set up, one spring inside of another. That way if you're at WOT and one breaks, you have backup.

Still looking for these springs, and also I need the bigger kick down rod clip that holds the rod to the swivel bracket that screws into the trans bell housing. All parts needed for a 1974 Scamp with a 318 and a 904.
