Just wondering if anyone has found a decent fitting universal fit type aftermarket (or alternate factory) center console that works well in a Duster/Demon that has factory bucket seats. I don’t care for the factory consoles in them because I don’t prefer the console next to my leg, and prefer an armrest height console. I am getting factory bucket seats this weekend so got to thinking about consoles again. Car is column shift automatic so I have endless options, but dimensions always play a role. This is not a restoration as much as a mostly period correct driver quality car that I am building to suit my preferences... which do not deviate far from OEM believe it or not! Thanks.

Depending on the space between the buckets, you might be able to fit a center armrest/buddy seat. I have most of a 73/76 and it’s not quite as wide as the B Body one

I hear what you are saying with arm rest height. Factory consoles are "low" and nothing like the newer style ones. But I prefer the looks of stock. I would be tempted to make my own, or at least give it a try. Theres been lots of real nice homemade ones posted on here. @Fred Scigliano did a stunning job with his.

this is mine not perfect but fits well and am happy with it. Fiber glass with stainless top.
All home made. I couldn't find one so built mine.
