I think it was his best run and it definately was my best run since I started racing the fish (I am the far lane which got the win light). We ran 8.44 at 84 and had been within a couple hundreths the previous 2 races. Weather was cooler and dryer. I also had the chance to run a 68 440 Charger but he beat me by .4 which on the track is about a car length.
It was a fun night and the next night they had a bracket race with $5K for pro and $1K for footbrake. Kinda wish I had not already made plans cause a guy had a pro 72 duster painted up like the Sox and Martin car.

Man... it will be cool and dry tomorrow night and the winds will be blowing our burnouts away from the crowd. I am thinking we should get into the 30's.
