A few weeks ago someone ask what do you use to turn the alignment cams with the wheel on.
I found my old alignment tools, Mac S67 mopar alignment wrench 3/4" box

For the upper control arms?
That clears the top of the tire?
Best thing I could find was a wobble socket on an extension from the front and rear.
I'm running 215/70R15s.

You do have to jack it up and let the tire hang to adjust

I used the wrench on the bolt and a impact on the nut.
Used it for years and it worked great.

The weight is supposed to be off or mostly off the wheels anyway before you adjust. Otherwise you bend the limiting tabs.

You guys would not believe how many B and E-bodies I rewired in the 70's due to this wrench. The mechanics were using it to tighten the right front eccentric nut and it would get caught up against the alternator positive nut.

We nick named this wrench "job security" at my garage. When ever the alignment shops would have to rewire a car the insurance would send them to me . It kept my place going when times were bad.

Yeah that good old wrench was god sent. Believe it or not I had three from the same shop same mechanic. That plastic cover on the positive alternator stud was put there for a reason. LOL the good old days

I lost one wrench and had to buy another and a year later I found my wrench still on the cam bolt, I pulled it off, wire wheeled the rust off and there was my name on it. I told the customer about my find and he couldn't believe it he said he went across the country after that alignment and it was in almost every state, my wrench took quite a ride.
