Allen Johnson Video Link, Mopar man to the core!

You know now that Alan retired, I really don't follow PS anymore. Could care less about it or NHRA. I've been going to the Gatornationals since 1970. He and his dad represented Mopar as well as anyone in drag racing.
 
Yes PS now is all camaroes. There is one Dart I know of but he doesn't have a chance. I think PS is near death. And they are going to allow any engine in any car????? WTW is that?
The FSS will be the new pro stock in a year or so.

ALREADY DEAD FOR ME !! I don't even record nhra dragracing anymore.
 
Only class I tape still my favorite too bad mopar/fiat isn't a factor in the class anymore..
 
I Meet him once. Just for the John Hancock.
Loved watching him race. Heck of Competitor.
Even better that his a MoPar guy.
 
I was at a race with my son who was about ten at the time. We were standing by Alan's pit between rounds when Alan comes over and gets my son. He shows him everything and gives him a signed hat, shirt, posters. Great guy!

In the pits some 25-30 years ago at the Gatornationals. I had a T-shirt on my daughter that said " My daddy drives a Mopar and I hang on!" Alan Johnson reads it and gets his dad to come look at her shirt, had one of his crew take a picture with the three of us. Talked to me for a long while and gave me the 50 cent tour. I was hooked, he was my PS driver from then on. Great man.
 
My favorite also. I used to follow Darrell Alderman and Scott Geoffrion but after everyone thought they were cheating we had to watch a bunch of folks run Mopars who didn't do anything. Really Alan was responsible for 2 Mopar championships, his in 2012 and one for Jegs when Alan finished second. Always a great family, his Dad with the Chroma Graphics Challenger in the 70's and then Alan with his run.

I was a Alderman/ Geoffrion fan also and endure a lot of BS when the Nitrous debacle came to light.
 
Yea I even built a model of Darrell's car. He signed the roof at Petersburg one year. But Scott was a nicer guy.

They were the only ones that got caught. Billy Glidden admitted they (bob) were running nitrous a few yrs ago. How do u think Bob could jump from one brand to another and be an instant winner ?
