i have a 70 swinger originally slant 6 then swapped everything over from a 74 factory(318) v-8 swinger. now i have a 360 that came with a different alternator and it matches the pulleys and what not. the one that came off the 318 setup went bad and this is all i have right now without buying anther like 318 setup one that i have.first one is the original one with just the bigger positive wire and two smaller ones. the other is a smaller cased one with the bigger positive wire but a plug with three prongs inside.
No matter what one I use i am going to wire up my (sun pro) amp meter gauge that is in the car already and never been used. I am still searching the sun pro site for the instructions on that ( never used one before)but that still dont help much if i cant figure out what the alternator is.
I have a school function for the kid tonight but will get back on it tomorrow thank in advance for any help and sorry if i missed any needed info.:burnout:
