I'm trying to wire my alternator on a Magnum swap. The alternator is 99 model.
My question is the light blue wire off the alternator...where does it go?
Thanks for your help

The blue is UNFUSED switched "ignition run" from the key. It normally feeds one field connection, the green goes back to the VR. YOU DID NOT mention what you are working on, so this may be incorrect. Are you using a 70 / later or a 69/ earlier VR?

"I thought" the magnums all had 2 field connections

ALWAYS STATE what you are working on

Thanks

I'm thinkin there should be two terminals in the alternator connector. Use your meter check there should be continuity, low resistance between the two, and NO continuity (open) to the case

(LOLOL I can't keep track of what you guys all drive)

There is two. I don't see any another wire that would connect to the light blue wire. Where would be good location to tie it in?
Sorry , I don't have any wiring to go off of and it doesn't seem to match the wiring schematics I have.
